I’ve pretty much come full circle by now and I have to say, it’s definitely going to be a whirlwind semester. I never quite figure out how everything I do gets done for the semester, but somehow it does. This past Sunday, I went to the first job event on campus, a consulting interest meeting, and realized that I really had no idea that job applications were starting so soon! and then I panicked. Since then, I’ve very much calmed down and I’ve realized that unlike most banks and investment companies (and consulting firms), nonprofit organizations don’t hire quite that far ahead of time, which makes me feel infinitely better.
I’m hoping that things will calm down enough soon that I’ll be able to have friends again, make myself food to eat, and get a decent amount of sleep… but we’ll see. Thank goodness for caffeine, emergency Trader Joe’s food in the freezer, and a quiet apartment that makes for a great home base.
