You know those days when you have so much to do and have no idea how you’re supposed to get everything done? Today was one of those days. (Sidebar: I have a lot of those days.) This particular day was a little different, however. Today it was shockingly nice in MN. After a morning of doing work in a coffee shop (big shock there) I went home to grab a snack and headed out to run an errand… and was completely sidetracked by the weather and found myself doing some reading in a park. I just sat there, watching little boys play soccer and dogs running after balls and frisbees. It was probably the most relaxed I’ve been in the past three weeks. It was just such a nice feeling to sit outside in the sunshine and actually get some interesting work done.
After today’s incredible amounts of productivity, I have a much better feeling about this week. Hopefully it will be stress-free and then I will be able to handle my midterm next weekend with grace, poise, and a little bit of chocolate. Not to mention that one of my favorite events of the semester, a trip to sing at the local American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, one of the kindest and most supportive spaces I’ve ever been, is this Thursday!
I think I’ve got this one. Week, you look out.
