Morning is one of my favorite times of the day when I’m not running out the door with breakfast in one hand and wishing I had a time turner in the other. Home is quiet today. I am sitting at my desk with a cup of tea thinking about what there is to be accomplished in the next week and instead of the panic that consumed me last night, I’m feeling pretty certain that everything will get done.
On Monday, I will be heading back to the beautiful, snow-kissed tundra that is Minnesota. I will be driving back with an awesome friend and we will be doing our best to document our adventure via twitter (#mactrip2013 for those of you who are twitter-savvy… which is maybe one person). It’s the last normal college transition that I’ll have before the real world strikes and for that reason, we plan to make it as fun and borderline ridiculous as possible. We plan to stop in places like Cornhenge, Ohio, which is what it sounds like – giant stone sculptures of corn laid out like Stonehenge. We’re going to watch road trip movies in the hotel and take magazine quizzes in the car. We’re going laugh and talk and be thankful that we have the time to travel slowly.
