Those are the things I’ve been up to in the past few weeks. The writing process is… well, a lot of me staring at my computer wondering why my fingers aren’t moving. It’s been very difficult to write in the past few days and I’m working on it. Never has there ever been such a work in progress.
This week, Macalester will hold it’s very first bone marrow registration drive through Be the Match, a nonprofit associated with the National Bone Marrow Registry. That’s pretty cool. I’ve been thrilled to have been a part of it and perhaps, not to take too much credit, its catalyst. What can I say? Clearly I haven’t had enough to do around here so I’m just creating more work for myself.
In other news, on Friday night I might have found (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) a good pizza place in Minnesota. It’s not NY pizza, that’s for sure, but it’s a start!
