This was one of those mornings that I just couldn’t get awake. Head heavy and muddled, it took me much more than my usual stand-up-and-go routine. Two cups of tea and a streusel-topped waffle later, I am finally just about ready to start my day.
Moving is finally done and now I’ve hit my favorite part of living in a new space – the settling in part, where it finally becomes home. Right now I’ve been exploring the area and looking for things to hang on the very large blank wall we have. I’ve come to learn that good art is not in my price range! I will likely have to improvise and make something myself once I give up looking in the area. There’s a street festival a few blocks from my house today so I’m hoping to find something there.
Otherwise I am just trying to enjoy the last of summer before the days start getting colder and darker again. I love the fall but I can be patient on this one.
